Suited For Success is a private, non-profit umbrella organization operating with Safe Space, Inc. Suited For Success is committed to assisting clients as they work toward eceonomic self-sufficiency. We collect clothing through volunteer
organized clothing drives, professional organizations, area retailers and private donations. Volunteers sort and size the clothing and work with clients in providing them with two interview appropriate outfist. Once a client secures  employment, Suited For Success then provides him/her with up to five additional work appropriate outfits.

Betty's Basement Thrift Store is a volunteer-operated thrift store connected with Suited For Success where the public may purchase items for a donation this is used to fund Safe Space and Suited for Success services.

Suited for School is a program ran by Suited for Success. Underpriveleged children from low-income homes, homes with domestic violence, or other children referred to our agency, are able to obtain clothing and supplies for school. All items are based upon donations.

Information and confidential referrals for all Safe Space services are available to the public in this location as well.

Who benefits?

Suited For Success donations are not charity. The professional clothing is earned by people making sincere efforts to enter the work force. Sometimes the only thing holding someone back from employment is a lack of appropriate
clothing.

Suited for School benefits children by building confidence in their appearance to achieve academic success.

What do we accept?

We accept both men's and women's gently worn professional clothing and accessories. We can best utilize Plus Size clothing and any clothing which can be worn on interviews and/or in a work environment.

We also accept all clothing for school aged children (sizes 5 and up), as well as school supplies, such as back packs, lunch boxes, crayons, scissors, pencils, erasers, rulers, colored pencils, markers, kleenex, notebooks, notebook paper, pencil cases.

We ask that all clothing be cleaned, pressed and on hangers. We would  appreciate it if all buttons and zippers are in good repair. Specific items include, but are not limited to suits, dresses, blouses, shoes, scarves, jewelry, handbags, hosiery, makeup, toiletries, nail care products, hair care products.
