Family Wishes

When families begin their new journey free from violence, they many times do not have basic furniture, kitchen utensils and cookware to start out in their new homes. As families set up housing to move out from the shelter, we will update this page to show their needs at that time.  If you are ever unsure if your item is a needed donation, contact Safe Space and we will let you know if our shelter or one of our clients has a need for the item.
Please contact our shelter staff for information on large item donation requests.

Larger furniture items may be needed at any time. If you have anything, such as a mattress, dresser, kitchen table, couch, etc., and would like to donate it to Safe Space, please contact our office at 406-782-9807.

Items for Raffles/Auctions

Safe Space holds events throughout the year that can use sponsors and donated items for raffles, silent and live auctions. If your business would like to be a partner or a sponsor in any event, please contact Safe Space at 406-782-9807 or use the form at the end of this page.

Safe Space is accepting donations and commitments for donations in 2019. If you would like to donate a monetary amount, large item for Live Auction, basket item/service/other for the silent auction, or volunteer, please contact our office at 406-782-9807.  You can also mail your monetary donation, gift certificates or other small items directly to the address above.

Holiday Gifts

EASTER: Easter baskets for children in shelter are greatly appreciated.

MOTHER'S DAY: Many victims in shelter are mothers. If you would like to donate a gift for a mother in the shelter, contact our shelter office.

FATHER'S DAY: Male victims are coming forward more and more each day. Father's who are also male victims also deserve to be doted upon during the holidays.

THANKSGIVING: We serve all survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Some of those we serve have been able to secure housing and start their new life free from violence, but may still need assistance during the holiday time to provide a holiday meal. We will be happy to put together food baskets for our clients that we serve! Feel free to include any small décor that would bring holiday cheer during the time of thanks.

CHRISTMAS: Christmas donations are accepted by Safe Space throughout the year. These donations could be wrapping paper, gift tags, tape, stockings, stocking stuffers, toys for all ages and genders, warm clothing, outerwear (hats/gloves/scarves), socks, pajamas, blanket/pillow sets, or any other item you believe would help to bring joy and hope in the holiday season.

Other Donations

The needs of the shelter, operations, Suited for Success and our clients change consistently. If an item you are wishing to donate is not mentioned on this page, do not fret! Contact Safe Space and if there is a need, we would be honored to accept your donation.
